Right now, I could change your choices. For good! All those poor choices you keep making that keep derailing your diet, worsen your relationships, your career and your life… I could change them in an instant… If… I had the power to collapse the space time continuum. If I could show you what the small insignificant decisions you take everyday will compound to in a few years you would be shocked into action and would very soon change your behavior.

For example, if you took a bite out of a Big Mac and with my magic I could show you what this poor food choice would lead you after 20 years to collapsing to the floor with a heart attack, wouldn’t you chose another type of food for lunch? Or if the next puff on your cigarette would immediately transmute you into a 65 years old weathered cancer ridden suffering person… Wouldn’t you stop smoking? If you failed to make that 10th sale on your daily quota and were immediately fired on the spot and bankrupted… Wouldn’t you find more motivation to make a few more prospecting phone calls? For us woman in particularly if instantly that next fork with delicious cake on it would immediately results in 50 pounds more on our frame, we would think twice before indulging, wouldn’t we?… Saying “No thank you to dessert” well… would truly become a piece of cake😉…

But here is the problem. It is easy to stay in the moment, enjoy it and not worry about the consequences that will arrive so many years later. You do not see the consequences each of your small insignificant choices compounded over the course of many months or years can produce. A poor choice in the moment does not have much consequences, taken many times over though, it compounds into something very powerful and results in BIG changes in your life. That bite of Big Mac will not result in an instant heart attack, that small cigarette will not result in lung cancer immediately, that piece of cake will not make your thighs thunderous as soon as you finish the cake and that 10th sale’s call missed will not send you immediately to the unemployment line. Do not be mistaken though because you have done it. You have activated the compound effect. You had a choice and you made it. You chose your behavior and your behavior determines the quality of the choices you make.
